Brewer Lofgren secured approvals for two mixed-use master-planned communities submitted under a single application to Sacramento County. Project details included:
- Approximately 1,400 acres of land
- Light rail station
- High-density mixed use development profile at Easton Place
- Medium-density profile at Glenborough at Easton
- Large open space preserve
- Amendments to the Aerojet Special Planning Area zoning ordinance
- Design Guidelines and Development Standards
- Affordable Housing Plan
- Public Facilities Financing Plan
- Development Agreement
The projects were approved by unanimous votes of the Board of Supervisors.
The firm:
- Utilized a collaborative approach between the applicant, departments within Sacramento County and other regulatory agencies and public-private partnerships, including the Air Quality Management District, the state Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), the Regional Water Quality Control Board, the cities of Folsom and Rancho Cordova, and the Highway 50 Corridor Mobility Partnership
- Negotiated the Conditions of Approval, Amendments to the Aerojet Special Planning Area zoning ordinance and separate agreements with the Cordova Recreation and Park District and the Folsom Cordova Unified School District
- Successfully negotiated a Development Agreement with Sacramento County for the projects
